Our Unique Position

La Fourbine Events has 20 years of event production experience in corporate events, special events, weddings, experiential marketing tours and festivals.  From offices based in New Orleans and San Francisco, we have worked in many different capacities for 700+ events.

After leaving the United States in 2008, we continued to work with our annual clients in the Bay Area each summer, while developing a business strategy for consulting in France.   This France based consulting business was established in 2011 and is located in the South of France, in the region of Provence-Les-Alpilles.

Our mission is to aid the worldwide anglophone community in their event endeavors here in France.  We want you to take advantage of our knowledge of the culture, our vendor network and the fact that we are located in Provence.  We will provide you with the information and tools you need in order to create a successful event here in France without leaving your home or office to travel thousands of miles.

La Fourbine Events offers 2 different consulting packages in order to meet client needs and budgets.

Full Service Wedding Planning and Coordination

This service is designed for the destination bride.  If you do not live in France, do not speak French or simply do not have the time to plan your wedding, then this is the service you require.  Let the experts wrap everything neatly into well thought out and coordinated options for you to simply pick and choose what suits your needs.  Benefit from our experience in the region and vendor base on which we rely for a smooth and exceptional wedding experience.

Hourly Consulting + On-Site Coordination

This service provides the greatest flexibility to the bride that wants to lay some of the groundwork herself.  If you are planning an extremely small and simple gathering, and are perhaps trying to keep the costs to a minimum, then this might be the plan for you.  We can handle as much or as little of the research, budgeting, event design, contract negotiations and logistical document creation as you like.  The initial hours are agreed upon up front and then amended as needed.  Then, the on-site coordination includes the handling of all details from set-up to tear-down, which in many cases will start the day before and end the day after.

 

Festivals & Large Scale Events

Event Creation:

Brainstorming themes, site surveys, risk management assessment and general research.

Pre-Production:

Vendor connections, vendor research(decor, catering, sound, stage, lights, etc.), vendor contracts, equipment acquisition, logistics strategies, event layouts, staffing, event time lines, staff schedules, transportation manifests, hotel reservations, signage creation & production, credentials, event security strategy etc.

Entertainment Booking and Production:
